The spy thriller meets the bedroom farce in this sprightly British suspense comedy. Tom Walls plays an investigator called away from his honeymoon with Renée Saint-Cyr to discover which of the guests at Irene Handl's boarding house has stolen some top-secret blueprints. As he mingles with a tiptoeing maid, a Boer War colonel, an Argentinian meat merchant, a travelling salesman, a dotty old dear and a sinister blind man, Saint-Cyr also books into the establishment, suspecting him of adultery. Walls was never the most understated of screen performers, but he keeps this enjoyable mystery bright and breezy.
