A star rating of 2 out of 5.

The prince in question is JFK whose life and presidency are portrayed in "mockumentary" style. Starting off with Frank Sinatra singing High Hopes - which became JFK's campaign anthem - the movie takes in the major issues of the day, including the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban missile crisis, the civil rights movement and JFK's relationships with brother Bobby and Vice-President Lyndon Johnson. Conspicuous by her absence is Jackie, who was alive when the film was made, though a platinum blonde called Marilyn Monroe is mentioned in dispatches. As always, the main problem is that the actors don't look like the people they claim to be, but addicts of Oval Office dramas won't want to miss it.
