Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

A minor vehicle for Henry Fonda as a lazy country hick who arrives in New York and teaches everyone how to chill out, relax and take things easy. This amazes city slicker Don Ameche and charms secretary Lynn Bari, a starlet whom 20th Century-Fox promoted as the "girl with the million dollar figure" as well as "the woo woo girl": American GIs apparently rated her second only to Betty Grable in pin-up power. Directed by Walter Lang and scripted by future director George Seaton, it's as corny as Kansas in August, but entertaining enough.
