Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Peter Pan's friend gets a second adventure of her own in this animated fantasy. Tinker Bell (voiced by Mae Whitman) is still a temperamental little fairy, but has settled into life in Pixie Hollow. The Queen (Anjelica Huston) and Fairy Mary (Jane Horrocks) decide to entrust her with creating a sceptre that plays an integral part in a fairy ceremony, but Tink and her best friend, pixie Terence (Jesse McCartney), squabble, and the fairy's temper causes a disaster. Cue a journey of discovery for Tinker Bell, who makes new friends, realises the value of her old ones and bravely sets about fixing her problem. The animation is suitably bright and sparkly, and the story contains plenty of positive messages, if relatively little in the way of excitement or originality.
