Mix Deep Impact with Alien and the result is this surprisingly effective science-fiction shocker. Xander Berkeley and Caroline Barclay head the team mounting a desperate mission to destroy a moon that's on a collision course with Earth, only to find a seemingly dead monster near its core. Naturally, before you can say "Ridley Scott", they find themselves in a life-or-death battle with the flesh-craving beast. An unpretentious and ambitious creature feature providing rock solid entertainment in a variety of cleverly winning ways.
