Fantasy comedy starring Bill Cosby. Too busy trying to earn a living, widower Elliot Hopper is losing touch with his children. Then an accident means he loses touch with everything - he becomes a ghost. However, Elliot is too determined to make things right for his kids to let that inconvenience him. On the verge of a major business deal, Elliot must use his wits to make people think he is still alive and kicking.
Bill Cosby has had a disastrous time trying to transfer his TV popularity to the big screen. Following the ill-conceived spy spoof Leonard, Part 6 came this equally daft supernatural comedy that, despite the efforts of director Sidney Poitier, also went straight to video over here. Cosby plays a harassed businessman who is killed in a car accident and only then discovers that he's been missing out on the joys of family life. Cosby mugs away for all he's worth, but good gags are few and far between.
