Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

Following The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes and Now You See Him, Now You Don't, this was Kurt Russell's third outing as Disney's super-teen Dexter Riley. Here his misadventures begin when he acquires phenomenal strength from chemicals accidentally added to his favourite breakfast cereal. When he goes on to win a weightlifting contest, the unscrupulous Cesar Romero and Phil Silvers try to steal the formula from Eve Arden. Russell is amiable enough, but the real fun comes from the film's seasoned stars, who expertly manage to wring smiles out of some pretty tired gags.
