Young Hercules

This spin-off from the popular syndicated series Hercules: the Legendary Journeys probably looked like a great idea on paper, but Ian Bohen, playing the young Herc, is not nearly as charismatic as Kevin Sorbo. Still, Dean O'Gorman as Iolaus is good, and the movie as a whole is low-level fun if you're into this kind of revisionist sword and sandal epic. Series regulars Kevin Smith (Ares) and Meighan Desmond (Discord) are the villains, and the climactic fight is borrowed whole from Yuen Wo Ping's martial arts movie Iron Monkey.
