Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

George Macready (Gilda, Paths of Glory) is the town tyrant who evokes the arcane Apex Rule, whereby if a mineral vein runs through his land, the owners of the territory containing the head of the vein have to surrender their rights. Of course, he's not going to get away with that. Unfortunately, he fails to recognise that his hired gun, Skip Homeier (Tomorrow the World), isn't actually the killer he thinks he is. A pacey, colourful B-western from Republic, this is shot in their cheap widescreen process, Naturama, and directed with conviction by house hack Joe Kane.
