Summary
A sports store clerk poses as a famous jockey as an advertising stunt, but gets more than he bargained for.
A sports store clerk poses as a famous jockey as an advertising stunt, but gets more than he bargained for.
This piece of horse nonsense has Dick Powell masquerading as a famous jockey in order to drum up more business for his employers. Trouble is, he finds himself riding a temperamental horse who can only be soothed by the trumpet playing of Louis Armstrong. His antics do, however, impress the lovely Anita Louise. Forget the plot - this is yet another screen version of the play The Hottentot. Instead enjoy the great "Satchmo" in one of his rare featured roles, the Harry Warren/Johnny Mercer song Jeepers Creepers, and a musical cameo from the teenage Dandridge sisters (Vivian and Dorothy).
