Here it is, folks, the pilot that started it all: Baywatch (sometimes affectionately known as "Babewatch"). This American TV series features sand-blown stories about the romances, family lives and daredevil aquatic rescues of a group of buff and busty LA lifeguards. David Hasselhoff and Parker Stevenson star alongside Erika Eleniak (sorry, fans, Pamela Anderson came to the beach a bit later). A TV movie that started an international tidal wave: the series went on to become the number one syndicated show around the world.
