Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Gary Daniels is a typical martial arts-knowing LA schoolteacher with an English accent who's nabbed by corrupt government agents and drugged to become a super-fighting machine. When he slaughters his way to freedom, the same agents then frame him as an insane killer, and a statewide search and media frenzy erupts as he attempts to clear his name while on the run. Like other efforts from the PM Entertainment group, this not only has enough broken glass for ten movies, but some social commentary - here critical of the government and the tabloid-like media. Most viewers will just be interested in the action sequences, which are frequently spectacular and high-impact, but suffer from surprisingly sloppy editing and glaring technical shoddiness (for example, several safety cables are clearly seen).
