Review

A star rating of 1 out of 5.

A late Star Wars spoof featuring lowbrow comedy, duff special effects, an awkward Alien parody and a central performance by Dorothy Stratten, murdered by her estranged husband on the very day it received its American premiere. The doomed starlet is the robot navigator on board a police spaceship, who gets sent on a mission to recover possession of the powerful Blue Star crystal. Few laughs and even fewer thrills are raised thanks to an unfocused script and haphazard direction by Z-movie maestro William Sachs. A sad epitaph for Stratten whose life story was turned into the acclaimed Bob Fosse movie Star 80.
