Review
A rock-bottom Roger Corman entry that was an attempt to set a standard escape story in a distinct historical time period. Unfortunately the paltry budget meant all Norse fact had finally to be ignored and enough cheap fantasy tossed in to please the horror crowd. Hence the last minute appearance of the cheesy sea monster. Badly lit, ultra-phoney (the cast members all wear blond wigs) and with dialogue mostly consisting of "Huh", this is a seldom-seen Corman quickie. You'll soon realise why.
