Horror comedy starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff. When a New England funeral parlour falls upon hard times, murderous mortician Waldo Trumbull decides to put new life into the business by drumming up a little trade.
Undertakers Vincent Price and Peter Lorre (in one of his last films) drum up business by murdering potential customers in this lesser effort from Jacques Tourneur, director of such classics as Cat People and Curse of the Demon. Boris Karloff and Basil Rathbone complete a fearsome foursome who try hard to extract every ounce of humour from the regrettably dull script. Watching genre stars send up the horror clichés they themselves made famous is the only reason for watching this marginally interesting failure.
