Fans of TV cop series Law & Order will have a distinct advantage over newcomers watching this mediocre attempt to rehabilitate a popular character. In the series, Detective Mike Logan was demoted to a Staten Island beat after he allowed his devotion to duty get the better of him. Here, Chris Noth returns as Logan, back in Manhattan's 27th precinct after three years, and among many regulars from his past, with a chance to redeem himself as he investigates the murder of a prostitute whose corpse has been found floating in the harbour.
