Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Penelope Spheeris, best known for Wayne's World, directs this tough, grim drama about two 18-year-olds (played by Maxwell Caulfield and Charlie Sheen) who embark on a series of brutal murders for no apparent reason. Although a sometimes shocking look at teen violence, the film eventually seems too slick for its own good, and any message Spheeris may have been trying to get across is lost in a cacophony of flashiness and moody glares from the two leads.
