Die Watching

B-movie king Tim Thomerson is underused here as the detective in charge of a serial murder investigation; somehow we're supposed to believe that Christopher Atkins can carry the film as the antisocial serial murderer. Atkins's character makes erotic videos and occasionally strangles the women who star in them. The police start to suspect him about the same time he falls in love with a local artist. Trashy but titillating, with some hilariously absurd fright effects, it's probably not at the top of Atkins' résumé.
