Review

A star rating of 1 out of 5.

Simply dreadful cringe-athon, with cigar store owner Lee Tracy run over by a car and dreaming how he might have lived a better life, been nicer to his wife, fought better in the First World War and warned President Woodrow Wilson about European policy. He also wonders what life might have been like if he was rich. In 1933, when the Depression was ripping through lives like a tornado, this sugary sort of thing went down a treat.
