Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Variously known as A Woman Scorned and Till Murder Do Us Part, this based-on-fact "fatal attraction" story was adapted from a report in the Los Angeles Times. Meredith Baxter stars as Betty Broderick, the San Diego housewife who resorted to murder after the husband for whom she had sacrificed everything in order to support him through college left her for his young assistant. Having given a credible impression of a devoted wife, Baxter throws restraint to the wind in the second half of the film, which promptly falls apart as her jealousy turns to revenge.
