Sharon Gless - who will forever be typecast as New York cop Christine Cagney from Cagney and Lacey - here plays (surprise, surprise) a police officer. With partner Steven Ryan (and, yes, there is some will-they-won't-they sexual tension as well as the expected sparring), she patrols the streets of LA, uncovering a group of federal agents who are beating up and extorting money from criminals. It's pretty predictable stuff, but the gruff-yet-vulnerable cop role is what Gless does best, and nostalgic fans of her hit TV series certainly won't be disappointed.
