Summary

If you were a brilliant young scientist diagnosed with only months to live, what choices would you make? To have faith that you were taken early for a reason and go quietly, or to use cryogenics to hope you could be cured someday in the future, or to download your consciousness into computer memory where you could still continue to interact with tho ones you love?

Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

In this sci-fi thriller, Peter Gallagher stars as a boffin who invents a super computer, only for it to be subverted by his vengeful ex-girlfriend (I Know What You Did Last Summer's Bridgette Wilson). With Robert Vaughn and Mimi Rogers also in the cast, this is a notch above most made-for-TV fare, and director Mick Garris manages to wring a few scares out of a rather silly story. Look out for an appearance by Jake Lloyd, a year before he found fame as young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode I: the Phantom Menace.
