The great Dan Duryea swansonged with this cut-price thriller, which was re-released a year later as Collision Course. With Vietnam rather than the usual Cold War providing the political impetus, US Secret Service official Duryea is prepared to collaborate with Lois Nettleton's Soviet mission in order to locate an alien spaceship that appears to have crash-landed in the mountains of Maoist China. The decision to take the craft for a spin seems far-fetched, but it furnishes Frank Telford (who has built the suspense steadily) with the opportunity for a grandstand finish.
