Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

This worthy but stodgy drama is loosely based on a true story and features that icon of TV movies, Lindsay Wagner. She plays a mother in a small town in Canada who discovers that her hockey-loving son has fallen under the influence of antisemitic teacher Randy Quaid. The two leads turn in credible performances, and the supporting performances are equally good, but they are all let down by an over-melodramatic script.
