Those who have not had enough of Dan Haggerty in his "Grizzly" Adams incarnation will probably enjoy this good-natured, Great Outdoors adventure. Haggerty plays Big Eli, a cartographer who makes the mistake of leaving his son, Little Eli, at home alone, only to find that he's then kidnapped. It's a great advertisement for the attractions of Oregon, even though the story itself could do with more hills and valleys, light and shade. Still, this peek into family harmony is quite affecting, and the sumptuous locations do provide the eye with a rich, ready meal.
