In this weak psychological thriller, a psychiatrist finds herself drawn to the attractive husband of one of her patients. This isn't a good career move, especially when the husband is played by Maxwell Caulfield, giving his usual block-of-wood performance. The only point of interest comes from the opportunity of seeing whether Jack Nicholson's daughter Jennifer has inherited any of his talent. The answer to that question is no, but in fairness this formula vehicle would sink anyone's enthusiasm.
