Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Singer Art Garfunkel's acting career seems to have hit a slump since 1980's Bad Timing. In this controversial drama, he plays a journalist investigating the go-go music scene in Washington, in the wake of a gang rape and murder. The police turn out to be pursuing their own agenda and Art ends up on the side of the music-loving gang. Sadly, Garfunkel is less than convincing and the music peppering the plot is annoying rather than enjoyable. But let's look on the positive side - at least Art doesn't warble Bright Eyes in this one.
