Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

Millionaire John Hubbard, committed to a lunatic asylum by a vengeful woman, becomes friendly with fellow inmate Colonel Caraway "of caraway seeds" (Adolphe Menjou), who is the inventor of a camera that takes no pictures. Together, they escape and join a carnival owned by Carole Landis, where Hubbard becomes a lion tamer and the carnival runs into riotous (in both senses of the word) trouble. Zany, manic, broad farce from the Hal Roach stable, this was written by a trio of writers, one of whom was Harry Langdon, and directed by Gordon Douglas with Roach and Roach Jr (both uncredited).
