Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

A delightful British film about miracles and religion, sharply written and directed by Charles Gormley. Tom Conti is the teacher at a Glasgow Catholic school who gets caught up in possible miraculous goings-on and then finds himself at the mercy of his colleagues and the media in this well-realised satire. Odd and often hilarious, this treat of a movie features terrific performances from a cast which includes David Hayman, Helen Mirren and Trainspotting's Ewen Bremner.
