John Travolta stars as single parent Bobby, struggling to bring up his daughter (Ellie Raab). Only released on the coat-tails of its star's post-Pulp Fiction comeback, this violent story follows Raab as she nurses a mobster's injured Doberman back to health, not realising that her involvement with the pooch will have her and Travolta fleeing Chicago. The dog, of course, makes an implausible road trip of its own to find its nice new mistress, with Mafia heavies in hot pursuit. It really is no surprise to learn this movie failed to find a distributor for four years.
