Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Best known as the producer who gave the world Flipper, Ivan Tors proved that his talents lay in writing and producing with this directorial debut. However, unlike other big game adventures, this one at least has the benefit of a conservationist message, as Hunter Harry Guardino and scientist Robert Culp go in search of a pair of white rhino that are threatened with extinction. Tors makes the most of his South African locations and the majestic wildlife, but his handling of the dramatic sequences is uncertain, with Shirley Eaton asked to do nothing more than look scared and regularly require rescuing.
