White Mischief

Once again the world is under attack from aliens and only one person can save it. A bald, big-collared comedian must give our green friends a capsule of all the best human civilisation has to offer to prove we’re worth saving.

Harry’s never pretended that this premise isn’t rather silly – or “thinner than Kim Kardashian’s nightie” as he once put it – but it’s a good’un nonetheless. And that’s mainly down to our host’s winningly sarcastic, hare-brained silliness and astute choice of guests – interesting people who aren’t ubiquitous on the panel-show circuit. Tonight it’s Una Stubbs, Janet Street-Porter, Jordan Stephens and Alex Brooker, which will do me. And the Martians, too, no doubt.
