Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

This cheesy sci-fi drama stars TV star and one-time Tarzan Jock Mahoney, who's stranded down in the frozen wastes of Antarctica where dinosaurs frolic around a hot water oasis, apparently discovered in 1947. This is The Lost World on ice, with an entire menagerie of monsters, including the pantomime villain T rex as well as the flying pterodactyl which brings down our hero's helicopter in the opening scenes. Shawn Smith adds some romantic interest as a newshound whose clothes become more and more sparse, while Henry Brandon is the man who's been this way before and clearly left his marbles behind.
