Summary

During the horror of battle a young paratrooper Will is hit by an enemy bullet. As shock gives way to pain and as he lies bleeding his thoughts turn to his wife Eve and their home in England. Her letters and his vision of their lives together were his only solace in the many dark months of war. His thoughts fade to darkness and when Will comes to he is in an unfamiliar place. Now trapped in a World he can't comprehend and a home he only barely recognises he is confronted head on with a future he could never have predicted. HIRETH is a film set in two worlds, the one which we know and one which exists only in the mind of a young soldier violently shaped by war. It is a film about the past and the present colliding with fatal consequences.
