Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

This last gasp of the 1970s fashion for marital comedies dealing in the sexual "liberation" of middle-class couples stars Natalie Wood and George Segal. They're a husband and wife who endeavour to deal with a surfeit of divorces among their friends - which includes Segal's involvement with the inviting Valerie Harper. Despite the more than usual utterance of expletives, the competent direction of Gilbert Cates, a bunch of "swinging" couples paying for the wages of sin, and the presence of Richard Benjamin in neurotic mode, it was always superficial and is now pretty old hat.
