Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

A bloated Errol Flynn western, boasting lovely Technicolor and the high production values of a big-budget Warner Brothers feature, but lacking a decent script (despite being the work of two notable writers, Alan LeMay and W R Burnett). Alexis Smith co-stars as the dance hall singer working for villain Paul Kelly, while Flynn sports some fancy outfits including holsters specially designed to give him a lightning-fast draw. The climactic shoot-out that extends from the saloon to the ruins of the Alamo is well worth catching.
