Based on the novel by one-time newsreader Gordon Honeycombe, this romantic ghost story is a genuine oddity that was sadly overlooked at the time. Susan Hampshire retreats to Jersey where she meets and falls in love with lighthouse keeper Michael Petrovitch. When he dies, her friends and family (including Anthony Booth, Cherie's dad) are dismayed to find that death is no barrier to their love.
