Musical drama starring Cynthia Dale. Samantha opens a dance studio with a group of friends that becomes so successful it attracts the attention of a rival establishment, whose owner decides that there is only room for one aerobics club in town.
A daft and rather bizarre attempt to cash in on the aerobics explosion of the early 1980s. The story is set around a dance studio, where the young owner finds herself in all sorts of difficulty when she rebuffs the charms of an egocentric rival. It's pretty risible stuff, leadenly directed by Lawrence Dane, and a clutch of distinctly forgettable tunes hardly helps matters. For aerobics fans, John Travolta's Perfect is probably the definitive movie about the sport.
