A renegade canoeist illegally runs a river to protest its exploitation by a greedy corporation.
If the presence of low-wattage stars in a low-concept movie doesn't lower your expectations, then you may survive the bumpy ride in this eco-action drama. Seeking to re-invent herself after years of playing Daisy in The Dukes of Hazzard, Catherine Bach co-stars as a photojournalist whose search for the story that will reverse her misfortunes lands her in deep water. However, she's primarily required to play foil to James Brolin, who has all the fun as the cranky canoeist hellbent on preventing developers from acquiring his favourite stretch of rapids. The plot's best forgotten - just enjoy the scenery.
