Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

This theatrical comedy was shakily brought to the screen by an unlikely alliance of producers, including documentary pioneer John Grierson, then involved in a publicly funded outfit called Group 3, based at studios in Southall. Dealing with various shenanigans at a Scottish university, the story involves mistaken identity, Celtic poetry, horse racing and the rigging of Rectorial elections. Blink and you'll miss Ronnie Corbett in what, of course, can only be described as a small role.
