Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

A pill-popping ex-SEAL-turned-bounty hunter must battle for his life on the streets of London when a mission goes pear-shaped in this pacey, efficiently made action thriller. Milo Gibson looks capable walking in the footsteps of dad Mel, as a frazzled lethal weapon who's called in to terminate a rogue agent out to grab a nuclear warhead. Gibson Jr has the glower if not the intensity of his old man, and gets solid support from William Fichtner (as a sardonic soldier buddy), The Wire's Gbenga Akinnagbe and Blade Runner 2049's Sylvia Hoeks (as his handler). It's not especially original but writer/director Matthew Hope at least keeps things moving and delivers the requisite rat-a-tat gunplay.
