Western starring Rory Calhoun. While crossing the desert, drifter Logan Cates joins up with a disparate group of people at a water hole when they are attacked by hostile Apaches.
Rory Calhoun is suitably stoic as the loner hero of this routine B-western, in which he comes to the rescue of a motley group of characters pinned down at a desert water hole by angry Apaches. A callow kid, a traumatised survivor, an old flame and her jealous fiancé are just a few of the stereotypes who need no introduction thanks to the join-the-dots script. Betrayal, greed and fear bubble under the surface but there's little else in a noticeably no-budget yarn that could barely afford enough extras to play the hostiles.
