Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

It's bad enough having to tackle a Ligurian wizard, whose plan to conquer the world involves an army of braindead giants and a series of city-shattering electrical storms. But when members of your own rescue party turn traitor and try to exploit a kidnapped scientist and his perky daughter, then a hero's got to play rough. Fortunately, Kane Richmond is able to marshal his wits throughout the endless turns of Harry Revier's 12-parter and confound the devilish William "Stage" Boyd. It's preposterous fun, although the notion of a machine capable of whitening the skin of a tribe of pygmy spidermen is decidedly distasteful.
