Review

A star rating of 1 out of 5.

After her questionable lifestyle involves her in the death of a young guy, bad girl Mamie Van Doren is sent to a correctional institution run by nuns. Under their influence, her hard shell begins to crack and she uncovers the person who was really responsible for the incident. Trading off Van Doren's brassy, suggestive voluptuousness, the movie brings to mind a whole lexicon of adjectives, such as sleazy, tawdry and trashy. Its only point of interest is the inclusion of such musical luminaries as Mel Tormé, Paul Anka and The Platters in the cast.
