Comedy starring Peggy Ann Garner and Allyn Joslyn. Exuberant teenager Judy Graves takes matters into her own hands when she thinks her father is heading for an affair with his boss's daughter.
One of those early and distinctly jaunty generation gap family tales in which a lively teenager (Peggy Ann Garner) exhibits such wildly rebellious behaviour as staying out past nine o'clock and wearing a natty ensemble that daringly reveals her shoulders. It all looks mind-bogglingly innocent and somewhat priggish today, but Garner gives concerned dad Allyn Joslyn a few nasty turns along the way. An undemanding yet entertaining comedy derived from a hit Broadway play, which is sprinkled with warm, endearing performances.
