Review
A slight but amusing children's film, of interest to grown-ups thanks to the surprising quality of its cast. Martin Sheen, Rod Steiger, Joe Mantegna and Star Trek: Voyager star Kate Mulgrew lend their talents to this tale of a group of young American boys who discover an old atomic bomb and use it to get the president to cancel school. In true Home Alone style, all the adults - including the FBI - spend their time bumbling around. This results in a few laughs, but one can't help thinking that such heavyweight talent is wasted in a kids' caper flick.
