Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Any parent still labouring under the delusion that you can plonk your kids down in front of any old cartoon and they'll be happy, might wish to observe them during this lacklustre feature following the further adventures of Fievel, the little Russian immigrant mouse. The storyline is practically nonexistent, the songs are unimaginative, and the animation could easily have been done in the 1940s, such is its flat traditionalism. That said, the voiceovers of James Stewart, John Cleese and Dom DeLuise are excellent and they alone earn this poor Steven Spielberg production its second star.
