Summary

Drama based on Kathryn Stockett's best-selling novel. An aspiring writer decides to focus on the story of Mississippi's black maids - much to the consternation of her well-to-do white friends. Desperate to put her college education to good use, she decides to interview her best friend's housekeeper, but she is not the only one with a tale to tell. Soon most of the town's help is coming forward, but they are all at risk in a country on the brink of huge social change.
