Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

A love story between Rock Hudson and the Cannibal, a sailing ship that's rotten to the timbers and threatens to sink with the usual assortment of passengers - a call girl, suicidal businessman and refugees from communism. Filmed in and around Hawaii, it gave Hudson a well-earned break from his romantic melodramas and the chance to play a disgraced, drunken wreck not unlike Humphrey Bogart in The Caine Mutiny.
