Another instalment in the popular Police Academy comedy series, starring Matt McCoy. The scheming Captain Harris discovers his superior, Commandant Lassard, is past the mandatory retirement age. Sensing a chance to gain the promotion he has always wanted, Harris is determined to enforce Lassard's departure at a forthcoming Miami convention. But his plans go chaotically awry.
What could audiences have possibly done to deserve such torture? As this inane series continues, each episode becomes sillier and more slapdash than the last. There's no Steve Guttenberg in this one (he must have read the script), and all you need to know is that the bumbling cops, as the title suggests, visit Miami for a convention, which is the only thing that differentiates this extremely mediocre movie from the four that went before.
